Sursa:Arenait
  5. You do not have to have a smart TV so you can watch movies on your phone. It's not a bad idea to watch movies on a tablet or smart phone, but it's not even very comfortable. Even if you do not have a TV in the house, you can still connect to it with your phone to use a larger screen for your favorite movies and series. 1. A cable would be enough You need a TV with an HDMI jack and a USB-C-HDMI cable for your phone. From that moment on, you can see what you do on your phone on your TV without needing a WI-FI connection or a password. 2. A streaming gadget D you do not want to hear anymore cables and adapters, because you already have too many, then there are some streaming devices that will help you connect your phone to your TV very easily. You can try Roku Streaming Stick, ChromeCast Miracle or AirPlay (for those who have iPhone or iPad). 3. Through a console If all you want is to look at Netflix on the TV, there is another way you can do it, even if you do not have a Smart TV, and without including the phone in the equation. it needed an internet connection and a TV-set console. Nintendo Wii, Playstation 4 and Xbox One can be very simply used to track Netflix on your levator
  6. Google announced Wednesday it was adding 20 new languages for its mobile translation application that reads text and instantly converts to another tongue. The smartphone app now can read 27 languages and instantly convert the text without an Internet connection, the tech giant said. Google also said it was making voice translation "faster and smoother" in the Translate app, which can interpret street signs, ingredient lists, instruction manuals and other texts. The real-time text translation began with seven languages—English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. The new ones added are Bulgarian, Catalan, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Filipino, Finnish, Hungarian, Indonesian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Slovak, Swedish, Turkish and Ukrainian. Additionally, one-way translations are available from English to Hindi and Thai. Google's picture mode translation, which requires a snapshot of text, can operate in 37 languages. The California group said the new features come from extensive research to develop so-called "convolutional neural networks," or using artificial intelligence to recognize letters and words and filter out backgrounds. "We've still got lots of work to do," said product leader Barak Turovsky. "More than half of the content on the Internet is in English, but only around 20 percent of the world's po[CENSORED]tion speaks English. "Today's updates knock down a few more language barriers, helping you communicate better and get the information you need."
  7. What just happened? Microsoft's phone mirroring service, the Your Phone app, is now an integral part of the Windows 10 experience. For those unaware, it is part of the company's efforts to enable multiple cross-device experiences, by mirroring a smartphone to the PC over Bluetooth. Since Your Phone is now deeply incorporated in the OS with more features to come in the future, it's now deemed a feature and the app itself can no longer be uninstalled. In March, Microsoft launched a beta of its Your Phone App for Windows Insiders. The idea behind it being to increase productivity of users, preventing them from being distracted by their phones by bringing its content to their Windows PC and offer an experience similar to one enjoyed by iPhone users with macOS. The service launched with limited support for Samsung Galaxy devices with more models, including Apple's iPhone, for wider compatibility in the future. Whether the app has gained any traction with the Windows community remains to be seen. Microsoft now considers it an important part of the Windows 10 experience and explicitly stated that the app cannot be uninstalled, as reported by BleepingComputer. "The Your Phone app is deeply integrated into Windows to light up multiple cross-device experiences now and in the future. In order to build more of these experiences between phones, PCs, and other devices, the app can't be uninstalled." Currently, Android users can do various tasks with the Your Phone app. These include screen mirroring, viewing notifications, replying to SMS texts and transferring photos over the phone's Bluetooth connection. iOS users on the other hand can only continue reading web pages on their PC that they have opened on the Microsoft Edge browser on their iPhone. While the app would be useful to many, some users may still want to uninstall it, be it after a clean installation of Windows 10 or viewing Your Phone as an another unwanted app. That option is now gone, with the remaining solution to just ignore it by either unpinning the app from the Start menu and/or the taskbar as it's now considered a built-in Windows application by Microsoft.
  8. Why it matters: Microsoft's inability to deliver solid updates as of late has led to an eroded faith in the operating system -- especially when the updates break security features. Many Windows 10 users are beginning to avoid updating at all to protect both their PCs and their sanity, which is precisely the opposite effect cumulative updates are supposed to have. One of Microsoft's more anticipated features coming to Windows 10 with the May 2019 (1903) update was the Windows Sandbox. Unfortunately, Microsoft admitted the recent update has left the new security feature unable to launch for many users. If that wasn't enough, Windows Defender Application Guard is also down. Windows Sandbox was announced last year as a feature for Windows 10 Pro and Enterprise users, and would allow them to run a virtualized, sandboxed environment. This virtualization is designed to run less like a virtual machine, and more like a separate application. There's no need to install any third party VM software, as is the case with setting up a traditional virtual machine. Windows Defender Application Guard is an enterprise-specific feature, allowing untrusted sites to be opened in a Windows Hyper-V container. This is designed to protect enterprise machines and data while employees use the network and internet. However, Microsoft has acknowledged that both features are failing to launch with the latest KB4497936 update. In support documents, Microsoft explains a potential workaround by creating new registry keys using admin credentials, then restarting the host. Outside of that, Microsoft is working on a more permanent resolution, estimated to be available in late June. The update also provided some protections against the newest speculative execution side-channel vulnerabilities, known collectively as MDS. It's also important to note that the KB4497936 update was only delivered to the preview rings of the Windows Insider program. That said, Microsoft hasn't exactly hit the mark with previous updates. Hopefully Microsoft can iron out the kinks, or this will be another in a long string of problematic updates.
  9. When attempting to start a Valve game, I see the Engine error: Could not load library client when launching the game. How can I fix it? Restart Steam Please completely log out of the Steam client (make sure it is not running in your Windows Taskbar) and then re-start Steam. This should correct the issue. Move Steam If the issue continues and Steam is installed to a location containing letters or symbols not contained in the English alphabet (such as accents), please move your Steam installation to a directory that does not contain these characters, such as C:\Steam. 10. I will introduce you 5 small 'tricks' that you can use when your computer moves very hard. 1. Disinfect: When a computer starts hard for no reason, the first thing you should do is install an antivirus or anti-malware and start a scan. Viruses and malicious programs steal from operating system resources and consume internet, in which case your system will go very hard and the Internet will not run properly. I recommend Microsoft Security Essentials, besides it I recommend you also use Malwarebytes. 2. Configure Startup: If you wait long until the icons appear on the desktop or the computer starts very hard, it means there is a long list of programs that automatically start with the windows. To change the list, go to: Start -> Run, type msconfig and click enter, a window will appear where you select the Startup tab and you can uncheck programs that you no longer want to start with windows. 3. Clean the Desktop: If your desktop is full of icons and files, you should do some cleaning. Delete what you do not use anymore, and move the files to partition D. A loaded desktop is eating from computer resources and slows down the operating system. If you want to gain more memory, use a background color instead of a picture. 4. Clean the Hard Disk: With your daily work, your computer creates a lot of temporary files that take up a lot of memories on the hard drive. You will not believe it, but even a few GBs can accumulate in a single month. By deleting these files, you can recover your lost lost memory. To delete them, use Disk Cleanup Tool in Windows: Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Disk Cleanup, or download Ccleaner from the Internet. 5. Defragment the Hard Disk: Defragmenting is one of the best tricks to make your computer run faster. The hard disk is like an organized library, with all the files sorted and categorized. If after a while there is no order, everything will be harder to find. The same is true with windows. If you delete and create files, the system will put them where they are. And when you go to them, they will be troubled if they do not have them ordered. For this reason, a defragmentation is one of the best ways to speed up the operating system's speed.
  11. You know that in 2018 changing the iPhone's battery costs less, due to a scandal that Apple was involved in because they were limiting the processor power when the battery degraded. Well, the offer was only until the end of 2018, from the year it will cost more. iPhone 8 reviews Romanian-Arenaa-1.jpg? res The official price for any iPhone battery was $ 39 until December 2018. In Romania, for iStyle, for example, the price dropped to 200 lei with all the workmanship. From 2019 official prices will be as follows: $ 49: iPhone SE, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus $ 69: iPhone XS, XS XS Max, iPhone XR and iPhone X $ 79: Other models Basically, the price increases by $ 10 for old models. In Romania this means 10 Euros, so maybe about 50 lei. In other words, if your battery has dropped a lot (you can check this in Settings -> Battery -> Battery Health) then you probably want to change it this year.
  12. The final clock speeds for the AMD Ryzen 5 3400G and Ryzen 3 3200G APUs have been unveiled by TUM_APISAK. The processors which are part of the AMD Ryzen 3000 “Picasso” family will be hitting the market shelves soon and will be compatible with all AM4 socketed motherboards. AMD Ryzen 5 3400G and Ryzen 3 3200G Final Clocks Unveiled – Up To 4.2 GHz Boost For Zen+ APUs The AMD Ryzen 3000 series APUs are based on the 12nm FinFET process and feature the Zen+ core architecture. While Zen+ cores have been available on Ryzen 2000 series processors, the previous APU lineup was based on the 14nm Zen cores. With Picasso, AMD is now bringing the updated Zen+ cores to APUs on the desktop platform. There are two processors which will be part of the Picasso family, the Ryzen 5 3400G & the Ryzen 3 3200G. The Ryzen 5 3400G is a four core and eight thread part with 4 MB of L3 cache, Vega 11 GPU with 704 stream processors and a TDP of 65W. The processor would feature clock speeds of 3.70 GHz base and 4.20 GHz boost which are a good uplift over the Ryzen 2000 series APUs. In terms of pricing, we can expect the chip to fall around the $150 US mark or lower. The second chip, the Ryzen 3 3200G, is a four core and four thread part which means that multi-threading is not present but we should also expect a lower cost for this part under the $100 US range, making it a very good option for budget builds. The processor will feature Vega 8 GPU with 512 SPs, a 65W TDP and 4 MB of L3 cache. Clocks for the Ryzen 3 3200G are rated at 3.60 GHz base and 4.00 GHz boost. AMD Ryzen 3000 Series Desktop APUs We have already seen some early leaks regarding the Ryzen 3000 APUs with one user even failing at an attempt to delid a Ryzen 3 3200G engineering sample. The process of delidding did unveil a gold plated solder under the IHS which should deliver better thermals and overclocking results compared to the older 1st Gen Zen based Ryzen APUs. While the specs may not seem like much of a change, it should be known that the AMD Picasso generation of APUs was always meant to feature the Raven Ridge design while adopting the Zen+ cores for power/performance uplift. The Ryzen 3000 APUs have already been announced for the notebook platforms and now we are going to see them in action on the desktop AM4 platform too.
Sursa: link
  14. In case you missed it, Intel dropped the suggested retail price of the Core i5-9400F to $182 a while back. If that wasn't a sweet enough deal for you, the CPU has dropped in price even further, to just $149.99. The 9400F has six cores (no Hyper-Threading), a boost clockspeed of up to 4.10 GHz and base clock of 2.9GHz (it should run at 3.9GHz on all cores, though), a TDP of 65W, and support for up to 128GB of memory. The 'F' means there's no integrated graphics support, so you absolutely need a dedicated GPU to get any kind of video output—just like with most of AMD's Ryzen processors. You can buy the processor from the link below. Make sure to check you have a compatible motherboard before buying—any B360, H310, H370, Q370, Z370, or Z390 model should work.
